Section I - Setting Sample Rate

  1. Open Konsole. Enter in the following commands:

  1. Open Bottles. Click on the bar of the bottle you’ve created to open its details. Click the three dots next to ortlinde, and click Add to Steam. Then, close Bottles.

Section II - Configuring Steam

  1. Fully restart your Steam Deck, so that the prior sample rate changes take effect. (Do not use the Return to Gaming Mode shortcut.) You’ll be brought back to Gaming Mode.

  2. A new shortcut for ortlinde will be at the front of the home screen. If not, go to the Library, and under the Non-Steam tab, you’ll find it there. Press the ≡ button, then select Properties... and rename ortlinde to SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR.

  3. Scroll down, and set Game Resolution to 1920x1080, and turn off Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.

  4. Select the game to open the game view screen, then select the controller icon. Select the current button layout, and choose the Web Browser template, then apply it by pressing X. This will allow you to navigate the launcher menus easily.

  5. (OPTIONAL) If you have Decky and the SteamGridDB Plugin installed, change the artwork to match SOUND VOLTEX EXCEED GEAR.
