Section I - Prep Work

  1. Open up a web browser and navigate to this guide at https://sdvx.burrito.software/ortlinde. Download Ortlinde from this link, and save the executable in a new folder named ortlinde inside the containing folder of the installation and resource folders.

    You should now have an ortlinde folder inside your containing folder, and ortlinde.exe inside that.

Section II - Configuring Ortlinde

  1. Open Bottles. Click on the bar of the bottle you’ve created to open its details. Click Add Shortcuts… and navigate to the ortlinde folder. Remove the Windows Installer package filter with the backwards X button next to the Filter textbox. Then select ortlinde.exe and click Add.

  2. Press the three dots next to ortlinde and select Change Launch Options.... Under Custom Arguments, in Command Arguments, enter launcher then click Save in the top right.

  1. Now, press the three dots next to ortlinde again and select Launch with Terminal. Follow the instructions in the terminal to grab the M573SSID value, for Chrome. If you’re using Firefox, open Developer Tools by hitting Ctrl+Shift+I, then click Storage to open Cookies. Right click and paste the token in the terminal, then hit enter.

  1. You will see a Thanks for using Ortlinde! message if everything went right. This means that the registry keys you set earlier when setting up Bottles were detected, and Ortlinde can find your SOUND VOLTEX folders. Once you see this, close the terminal.

  2. Press the play button next to ortlinde. If the SOUND VOLTEX launcher opens, congratulations! You’re almost there. Exit the launcher for now.
